Structure Designs LLC (SAFE) has been awarded a contract to supply a full set of custom CH-47 helicopter wraparound maintenance and fall protection platforms for the Minnesota Army National Guard. The platform configuration incorporates modifications requested by the local maintenance team to address its specific aircraft maintenance requirements.

The Minnesota Army National Guard maintenance team identified requirements specific to its operations. SAFE incorporated those requests into the platform design, aligning the equipment’s form, fit, and function with the team’s maintenance practices and available hangar space.

The CH-47 wraparound platforms are designed to provide access around the aircraft while keeping the equipment’s footprint compact. Easily movable sections allow maintenance teams to position the platforms quickly and configure access for the task at hand. Integrated fall protection supports technicians working at height, while the layout emphasizes efficient movement and access to aircraft maintenance areas.
