New 5G FWA gateway combines WiFi 7, business continuity, flexible managed WiFi support and HitronCloud intelligence for small and medium businesses
ATLANTA, GA, UNITED STATES, September 29, 2026 /EINPresswire.com/ — Atlanta, GA – September 29, 2026 (SCTE 2026, Booth #I1528) – Hitron Technologies Americas today announced the VIBE2142, a new 5G Fixed Wireless Access (FWA) gateway designed to help Internet Service Providers build and deliver differentiated managed connectivity services for small and medium businesses (SMBs). Hitron will showcase the VIBE2142 at SCTE TechExpo26, September 29–October 1 in Atlanta, Booth I1528.
Featuring 5G Fixed Wireless Access and tri-band WiFi 7, the VIBE2142 combines high-performance connectivity, business continuity and cloud-based visibility in a platform designed around the needs of SMBs. It can work with a variety of managed WiFi services, giving ISPs flexibility to build an offering around their existing architecture and service strategy.
“5G FWA gives service providers a significant opportunity to expand their SMB business, but business customers need more than a fast internet connection,” said Greg Fisher, President and CTO, Hitron Technologies Americas. “They depend on connectivity for payments, voice, security, cloud applications and daily operations. The VIBE2142 gives ISPs a flexible platform to deliver, manage and support the connectivity experience these businesses depend on.”
Built for Business Connectivity
The VIBE2142 helps ISPs deliver a business-class experience across both the FWA connection and the in-business network. Application-aware traffic management can prioritize critical applications such as WiFi calling, voice, VPN, remote access and payment processing when network resources are constrained.
Flexible WAN configuration also allows Ethernet or cellular to serve as the primary connection. When Ethernet is primary, the VIBE2142 can automatically switch to 5G if service is interrupted, helping keep critical business applications connected.
Tri-band 4×4 WiFi 7 provides the capacity and efficiency needed for connected business environments, while 2.5 Gigabit Ethernet supports high-speed wired devices and equipment.
Visibility to Manage the Experience
HitronCloud gives ISPs centralized visibility and management across VIBE2142 deployments, transforming device telemetry into actionable insights that can help identify connectivity and WiFi issues, optimize performance and improve the customer experience.
Combined with support for a variety of managed WiFi services, the VIBE2142 gives operators the flexibility to create differentiated SMB offerings without being tied to a single managed WiFi ecosystem.
The VIBE2142 will be demonstrated at SCTE TechExpo26 in Atlanta, September 29–October 1, at Hitron Booth I1528.
